From “the tattoo artists' secret” to consumer brand: +400% sales in 4 months
Introduction:
SkinTattooCare does one thing: tattoo aftercare — a repair cream and products that heal the skin after a tattoo.
Tattoo artists knew it and trusted it. It sold mainly through the studios.
It had:
- A high-performing product
- Strong credibility with professionals
- A loyal B2B network
- Visible results
Outside the studios, though, nobody knew it — so nobody asked for it.

Challenge
How do you get the general public asking for a niche tattoo aftercare product, without:
- Losing its identity
- Changing the formula
- Artificially inflating the range
- Living off promotions
The goal: a bigger market, through repositioning.
Strategic Insight
A fresh tattoo is, essentially, a controlled injury to the skin.
If a product quickly heals something that demanding, it's not just for people getting tattooed.
That's where the campaign message came from:
“If it heals a tattoo in 2 days, imagine what it does for your skin.”
We introduced it as “the tattoo artists' secret”. People christened it “the viral repair cream”.
We didn't change the product. We changed how people see it.
Execution
The whole campaign was built on UGC (user-generated content).
1. UGC from tattoo artists
We showed the product where it really works: inside tattoo studios.
2. UGC from pharmacists
Pharmacists brought authority and carried that trust to a much wider audience.
Tattoo authority + pharmaceutical credibility: that combination took the brand from a niche professional product to a skin-repair cream for everyone.
We ran on Meta and TikTok, with creative test after creative test, until we found the winning angle.
Scaling only once the KPIs had stabilised.
Results (May – August 2025)
Within 4 months:
- +400% total sales
- +466% orders
Without:
- New products
- Discounts
- Celebrity endorsement
- A change in pricing strategy
Conclusion
When a brand that professionals trust changes the way it introduces itself, demand grows.
The product stayed the same.
What changed was the market asking for it.
